In this transcript, noted asymmetric warfare specialist David Kilcullen discusses why conflicts in the future are increasingly likely to involve urban guerilla operations in coastal cities. As he sees it, some of the ‘why’s’ include population growth and urbanization, greater connectivity, and ‘littoralization’ (i.e., the human tendency to cluster around coastlines).
