This paper examines the impact of the 1993 Oslo Accords on the Israeli-Palestine conflict. The authors argue that the signing of the Accords contributed to a continuation of the occupation. They conclude that future prospects for a viable and just solution seem bleak as neither state is willing to budge on its fundamental negotiating position: Palestine wants independence while Israel continues to fight for control over the land and its people.
