This paper analyzes the ideas and objectives behind the Greater Europe concept used in Russian political discourse. The author shows how it evolved in recent years, and examines its impact on the practice of Russia’s foreign policy. He ends with a brief reflection on the prospects of Greater Europe becoming reality.
