This commentary examines the Lithuania's goal of using it's Council of the EU presidency to expand the EU's Eastern partnership. The author argues that not everyone in the EU is in agreement with Lithuania's approach to the region, especially after the nation's previous negative involvement in EU-Russia negotiations.
