This brief assesses Morocco's contributions to regional security and development in Northwest Africa. More specifically it examines 1) the country's counterterrorism efforts in the Maghreb-Sahel, 2) its domestic counter-radicalization campaign, 3) its international security cooperation efforts, and 4) its re-engagement in regional security matters.
