This paper examines the prospects for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and what part Europe could play in it. In particular, the author argues that Europe is in a unique position to rescue to the two state solution, but that it must take a harder position on both Israel and Palestine if it is to achieve this.
