This commentary examines and compares Germany’s trade relations with both the eurozone and emerging countries such as China, Brazil and India. The authors argue that despite Germany’s expanded trade connections to new markets in Asia and Latin America, the recovering eurozone will remain the most important region for German exports. The commentary concludes with a number of recommendations for the Polish government on how to react to these developments.
