This paper summarizes the findings of the Factor Markets Project 2010-2013, which was conducted under the supervision and coordination of the Centre for European Policy Studies. The project analyzed the functioning of factor markets for agriculture in EU member states and EU candidate countries and compared these different markets, their institutional framework and their impact on agricultural development and structural change in rural economies.
