This monograph provides a long-term forecast for 26 fragile countries in Africa focusing on the four dimensions of fragility: poverty; inequality and exclusion; conflict/violence; and poor/weak governance. It concludes with recommendations on how to prevent and manage conflict, reduce poverty and equality, and improve governance in the long run.
