This paper analyzes Spain's export success which, the author claims, has enabled the country to emerge from recession. It looks at Spain's global trade position, the implications of a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership for the country, and export growth prospects. The author argues that this shift seems to be more than just a short term spike - it seems to be a longer-lasting structural improvement to Spain's economy.
