This paper talks about the fourth round of the European Semester procedure, started by the European Commission to encourage EU member states to pursue responsible and economic policy to help end the financial crisis. The author argues the key questions about the European Semester for him are whether member states will accept guidance from the European Commission on their budgets and whether the results will be beneficial if they do. He also looks at the implications of this issue for Poland.
