This report discusses options for the global future of nuclear energy and the international structures that will allow nuclear energy to maintain a viable share of the global energy portfolio. Among other issues, the authors look at the implications of increasing global electricity demand, the nuclear market in Asia, and the challenges faced by the US nuclear industry. They also explore the part international partnerships could play in the future of nuclear energy and the choices faced by the US in deciding how to react to the increase in demand around the world for nuclear energy.
