This paper examines how the EU can help Pakistan build a secure future. The author argues that the best way for the EU to do this is with a framework that prioritizes support for democratic consolidation. By doing so, the EU could assist Pakistan with the development of consistent democratic rule, peaceful relations with its neighbors and balanced economic development.
