Because 6.5 million Indians live and work in the Middle East, New Delhi has more than a passing interest in the region, particularly in the wake of the Arab Spring. With this truth in mind, this policy brief lists the political and economic policies that India should follow in order to influence the Middle East in ways that serve its national interests.
