Zambia’s constitution-building efforts, which began in 2011, are at a critical crossroads. The current stumbling blocks the country faces include how to validate the draft document and eventually enact it into law. In response to these problems, this situation report recommends ways to enhance the legitimacy of the constitution-building process while simultaneously preserving Zambia's political stability.
