This paper talks about how the US and France can improve their level of economic competitiveness by learning from each other and working together. The author says that both countries have declined in key areas of competitiveness, but that they can help each other as one is often strong in areas where the other is weak. The author also offers a number of recommendations for how both countries can take advantage of each other's strengths and benefit from their mutual relationship so as to succeed in the 21st century.
