Based on an assessment of previous attacks on sporting events, this paper examines some of the possible strategies which North Caucasian jihadists could use at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. The author outlines six types of assaults, evaluates the likeliness of their successful execution, and comments on the effectiveness of security measures against such attacks.
