This bulletin talks about the implications of the possible loosening up of visa restrictions between Ukraine and the EU. It begins by looking at the state of the negotiations on the matter and the concerns which the EU has regarding the prospect of visa free travel from Ukraine. The authors then look at the effect which Poland's relatively lax visa restrictions have on cross-border movement with Ukraine. They conclude by looking at how the EU and Poland could make progress with Kiev on this issue.
