Ahead of the Brisbane G20 Summit, this brief argues that the G20 needs to develop a comprehensive growth strategy and talks about what this would involve. It includes the development of a single growth strategy which aims to lift the growth potential of all countries; that each G20 country should release a plan of how to increase growth and jobs in their own territories that is consistent with the single strategy; and that draft growth strategies should be released for public comment prior to the Brisbane Summit.
