This paper discusses the EU’s new energy and climate framework for 2030 and the opportunities it presents for Polish-German energy cooperation. After discussing the main implications of the framework for Europe’s green agenda, the authors look at how the framework will affect Poland’s and Germany’s long-term energy strategy. They then identify some options for energy cooperation between the two countries and outline how both could benefit from this.
