This commentary discusses Taiwan’s efforts to modernize its air and missile defense capabilities and deterrence forces. Following a brief discussion of some of the internal and external challenges faced by Taiwan during its military modernization process, the author outlines the lessons Poland can draw from the Taiwanese modernization experience.
