This brief examines how Africa should respond to cyber-crime organizations that threaten economic growth, foreign investment and security on the continent. The author suggests that countries in Africa should develop a collaborative, multi-layered approach which would include, among other things, 24/7 cyber watch centers that could respond to the growing threat of cyber-crime incidents and their consequences.
