This paper looks at the growing rifts within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and stresses the organization's need to address them sooner than later. More specifically, the paper highlights the member states' unease over the US’s ‘inconsistent’ hostility towards Iran, Qatar’s support of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the lack of institutional mechanisms within the GCC to resolve its differences.
