This monograph looks at the evolving relationships between Turkey, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Iraq, and the Iraqi Government, particularly since 2011. In doing so, it 1) traces the growing tensions between Baghdad and the KRG and Ankara, 2) the impact this triangular relationship is having on US interests and policy in the region, and 3) the effects the Syrian conflict is having on broader stability, to include the Syrian Kurds' bid for autonomy.
