This is a transcript of a discussion held on the social, political, military and artistic legacies of the First World War. It particularly focuses on 1) how combatants were portrayed during the conflict and how that portrayal affects how we perceive them today; 2) the genesis of the League of Nations and how it has shaped the wider sense of security we have today, and 3) the way our conceptions of war have been impacted by works of art.
