This compilation of articles analyzes the commitments and responsibilities towards nuclear materials' security in general and the Nuclear Security Summit (NSS) process in particular from the perspective of South Asian States. Individual contributions discuss: 1) the significance of the summit and its benefits to India; 2) India’s contributions to nuclear materials' security; 3) initiatives to enhance the security of nuclear enterprises; 4) Pakistan's role in furthering the aims of the NSS; 5) results of India's engagement with the NSS; 6) changes necessary to ensure nuclear materials' security; and 7) conclusions and successes of the first two summits.
