This is a transcript of a testimony by the CFR's Yanzhong Huang in which he talks about health care provision and reform since the late 1970s in post-Mao China. He looks at the gap between rural and urban services, health care governance issues as well as China’s health-care reform in the mid-2000s and US-China relations.
