This paper looks at how Ukraine can recover politically, following its 2013/14 crisis. More specifically, the authors discuss politics in Ukraine post-Yanukovych; the role of oligarchs in the country's new power structure; the ruling elite and regional differences; civil society protest; and Germany and the European Union’s options regarding Ukraine.
