In this testimony before the US House of Representatives Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights and International Organizations, Mark Lagon focuses on human trafficking around the world and what various countries are doing to combat the problem. In the last case, Lagon argues that the US and others should fix their attention on the demand side of the trafficking equation and on empowering survivors.
