This volume explores a variety of issues pertaining to international as well as regional security and stability in the context of peace and development. Some of the issues discussed in the articles include insurgency and violent conflicts and their causes in Africa, civil-military interactions in relief and stability operations, national stability and post-conflict reconstruction in Afghanistan beyond 2014, and police reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
