This bulletin discusses expectations regarding the May 2014 presidential elections in Lithuania. The author suggests that according to the polls, the incumbent president Dalia Grybauskaitė is likely to win. She then discusses some of the reasons behind the support for Grybauskaitė and comments on how the European Parliament elections as well as the Ukraine-Russia conflict may influence the elections. Finally, she comments on the possible implications of Grybauskaitė's reelection and offers some guidelines for Poland's policy toward Lithuania.
