The second section analyzes Norway’s defense policy, outlining its objectives, main components (cooperation and deterrence), and the role it plays in NATO's collective security. The third section discusses Norway’s relations with countries in the Baltic Sea region and comments on Oslo's growing cooperation with Poland.
