This issue contains a set of articles which explore the relationship human rights have with information, access to it, and the role of the internet in its production and dissemination. It also has articles on the impact of large development projects in Brazil on human rights in the country; whether land rights should be incorporated into international treaties; access to health care in São Paulo, Brazil; the UN mechanism for the international monitoring of human rights; and Botswana citizens imprisoned in South Africa who are accused of crimes that carry the death penalty in their country of origin.
