This issue contains a set of articles which broadly explore the impact foreign policies can have on human rights. More specific topics include: 1) the impact of contemporary international dynamics, such as the emergence of a multipolar world, on the global protection of human rights; 2) public health policy and international development cooperation in Brazil; 3) the legitimacy and legality of using the responsibility to protect (R2P) doctrine in humanitarian interventions; and 4) sexual and reproductive rights in Brazil and Colombia.
