This paper looks at the 2014 European Parliament election results and suggests that although far-right and eurosceptic parties did well in a number of countries, this was not the case across all the member states. Indeed, the author suggests that the European Parliament is still overwhelmingly pro-European in its make-up. She also addresses the potential impact of the media's portrayal of the gains made by eurosceptic parties in the elections.
