Jun 2014

This commentary discusses what Ukraine’s decision to sign an Association Agreement with the European Union in June 2014 means for the country's economic development and what it reveals about the country's foreign policy orientation. The author argues that this decision clearly indicates that Ukraine's new government wishes to politically and economically position the country closer to the EU than to Russia.
