This publication presents a number of articles discussing the political, ethnic and foreign policy components of the ongoing transition in Myanmar. Individual contributions examine 1) the regional implications of Myanmar’s transition; 2) the status of ethnic conflicts within the country; 3) the profile of the 969 Buddhist movement; 4) the Buddhist clergy’s participation in attacks against Rohingya Muslims; 5) potential threats to Myanmar’s bilateral relations with China; and 6) India’s relations with Myanmar.
