This edition of the CAD examines interethnic relations in Georgia, including the policies Tbilisi has pursued to facilitate them over the last few years. More specifically, the first article looks at the institutional framework used to facilitate minority governance in the country, and the real-world difficulties associated with ensuring the civil integration and participation of minorities in political life. The second article then considers the historical and current impediments to social cohesion that exist in Georgia. Finally, the third article explores interethnic marriages, including some of the key factors that spur and affect them.
