This paper consists of a number of articles with ideas on ways in which the US-South Korea-Japan alliance can make contingency plans in the event of a reunification of the Korean Peninsula. More specifically, the authors discuss 1) political integration and the establishment of governance; 2) cooperation on humanitarian assistance; 3) securing weapons of mass destruction (WMD) operations; 4) determining the complexities and legal procedures for justifying any potential military intervention; and 5) how to deal with the Chinese Communist Party.
