This paper examines the political position of British Prime Minister David Cameron both at home and in Europe following his failure to prevent the appointment of Jean Claude Juncker as the President of the European Commission in June 2014. The author also examines the level of Euroscepticism in the UK as well as the position of other European countries and the US on Britain's membership in the EU.
