This paper provides an overview of China’s policies and practices aimed at controlling exports and transfers of conventional arms and dual-use goods and technologies. It also outlines the differences and similarities between China's practices and those of the Wassenaar Arrangement, which is a multilateral export control regime with 41 participating states, and of which China is not a member.
