This paper addresses the military offensive by Israel against Hamas in July 2014. More specifically, the author compares and contrasts the offensive against the military operation against Hamas in 2008-09, examines the international level of support both parties to the conflict have, and provides a preliminary analysis of possible consequences and outcomes of the conflict.
