This paper discusses the possible political trajectories open to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in Egypt following the government's crackdown on the organization in 2013. The author presents six scenarios that describe how the MB could remain politically and socially relevant in president al-Sisi's Egypt, and concludes that the organization will probably opt for the "long struggle" scenario, in which remnants of the MB will retreat and operate in the background.
