This commentary discusses 1) the implications of the terrorist assault on the town of Arsal in eastern Lebanon in early August 2014; 2) the current political situation in the country; 3) the implications of Hezbollah's involvement in Syria's civil war and the economic and social effect of the influx of refugees to Lebanon from Syria.
