This issue of the ISS Peace and Security Council (PSC) Report includes situation analyses of 1) the conflict in Mali, including the state of peace negotiations and the role of regional and international actors in bringing about peace in the country; and 2) the threat posed by Boko Haram and how the African Union (AU) could respond to it. The issue also includes articles on 1) the AU PSC's subcommittee on counterterrorism, which has yet to become operational; and 2) the working methods of the PSC.
