After analyzing the US Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) spending records, this report concludes that private corporations have been integrated into some of the Command’s most sensitive activities. The latter include overseeing lethal drone operations, facilitating communications between forward operating locations and central command hubs, interrogating prisoners and translating captured materials, and managing the flow of information between civilian populations and the US military.
