This monograph examines the changing geopolitical and economic situations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries as well as the state of US relations with GCC member states. The author also provides an overview of the historical evolution of the US-GCC security partnership during the 20th century and examines the implications of the changes in the Middle East for US-GCC relations.
