This paper provides the text of a speech delivered by Erhard Busek, Special Coordinator for the Stability Pact, at the London School of Economics and Political Science in March 2004. The speaker discusses provides an overview on the structures and main activities of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe. He describes the methodology used summarizes to what extent the lessons learned in the Pact could serve as a model elsewhere.
