This edition of the RAD features three articles on the current state of science and innovation in Russia. The first piece compares Russia and China’s efforts to create innovation-centered knowledge economies. The second article then analyzes Russia's decision to amalgamate three state Academies—the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, and the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences—into one "club" of experts. Finally, the third text examines the peculiarities of innovative entrepreneurship in Russia today.
