This paper questions the US strategy of killing terrorists in Yemen using drone strikes. The authors argue that the US approach is shortsighted and threatens US national security objectives. They then outline recommendations for the Obama administration on how to prevent over-reliance on drone strikes while arguing for the need to develop a long-term, sustainable policy on defeating terrorism in Yemen.
